Impact of combined low dose norepinephrine and simvastatin on sepsis induced acute Kidney injury in critically ill patients

Abstract:

The role of statins in sepsis patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) is still unclear. This study was done to evaluate the effects of oral Simvastatin and low dose intravenous norepinephrine as an adjunctive therapy in early acute kidney injury associated with sepsis.
