Abstract:
Different species of mosquitoes (pathogen carrying vectors) prevail in different regions of the world. Population density, sanitation and personal hygiene, economic status and topography have been known to be the contributory factors for the growing of the fauna. A study has been conducted in the Autonagar area of Vijayawada city, Andhra Pradesh for a period of one year; 3 selected localities were categorized into 3 Slum areas (low income group)
