Abstract:

Plants and plant based products are bases of many modern pharmaceuticals that are currently in use today for various diseases. Several species of Sida commonly known as Bala, are known to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic and hepatoprotective activity. The root infusion is given in nervous and urinary diseases and also in disorders of blood.
