Abstract:

Kumaun is characterized by a rich diversity of ethno-medicinal plants as well as a rich heritage site in traditional medicine system in the western Himalayan region. Present study deals with the status, identification and to explore the traditional knowledge of plant species about their uses in local medicine by village people in Gahelna Van Panchayat of Kumaun region
