Abstract:

Mycotoxic metabolic exudates containing AFB1, liberated by strains of Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus are the potent carcinogenic, hepatotoxic, mutagenic and nephrotoxic in nature. AFB1 accumulation in poultry feed stuffs causes severe morbid pathological disorders even in molecular level in commercial birds bankrupting the poultry enterprise.

Keywords:

Mycotoxins, Aflotoxicosis, AFB1, Broilers, liver and serum.
