Abstract:

Streptomyces atrovirens was isolated from soil samples in Egypt and showed broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. It was identified as Streptomyces atrovirens (strain H33) based upon16S rRNA gene sequencing. It was deposited in the GenBank database under accession number of KJ435269. Streptomyces atrovirens (strain H33)was cultivated by submerged fermentation bioreactor to produce the antimicrobialmetabolites.

Keywords:

16S rRNA, bioreactor; cytotoxicity, HPLC MS/MS, Streptomyces atrovirens H33.
